Here's my final project for ILL 445 - interactive illustration! A little interactive storybook version of Edward Lear's nonsense poem The Owl and the Pussycat
Aaaah, I've been working on this since August -- it's been a challenge sitting on my hands about it for so long >y<. Do I need to upload a page-to-page guide for this? Hmm. I think I'll let this sit for a few days. See if you can find all the interactive bits!
My favorite "page" is the third one, where Owl and Puss sail away for a year and a day. It wasn't the easiest thing to code correctly [screams quietly] but it turned out a lot better than I expected! So!!
The artwork for this project was created in photoshop! Those aren't vectors, nooo, they are super duper very rasterized and a bit pixilated too. And I'm just fine with that! :'D
Misc. sound effects came from Freesound.org
